The Chairiot Test Run

IMG_1790

Check out my sweet Chairiot!

My friend Chip wanted to do a test run of the Chairiot in the woods before he went too far on the construction of the chair, so we took it for a test ride a couple of weeks ago. The large wheels in the back made the ride over the roots and weeds very smooth and the chair is very comfortable. I think it will be a perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the trails.

My friend Nancy Moody was visiting from Lansing on the day of the test run so she joined us on our hike to Lost Lake, too.

Because of generous and loving people, Chip was able to build this amazing Chairiot. I appreciate it all so much.
